• Email Address: Required for account creation, certificate generation, and communication about your verifications.
• Payment Information: We do not store payment card details directly. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you use ContentProof, including pages visited, verifications performed, and certificate downloads.

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the ContentProof service
• Generate and deliver authenticity certificates and badges
• Process payments for premium plans
• Send verification results and certificate details
• Communicate with you about updates, features, or support
• Monitor service usage and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Submitted Content: Content you submit for verification is processed immediately and deleted from our servers after analysis is complete and your certificate has been generated. We do not retain submitted content for longer than necessary to provide the verification.

Certificate Data: We retain verification certificates and associated metadata to allow you to access and share your certificates. This data is retained for as long as your account is active.

Payment Records: Payment information is retained in accordance with legal and tax requirements, typically for 7 years.

We use minimal cookies to provide a better experience:

• Session Cookies: Essential for keeping you logged in and maintaining your session during your visit.
• Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with ContentProof. You can disable these in your browser settings.

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary:

• Stripe: Processes all payments. Your payment information is encrypted and handled according to PCI compliance standards.
• Google Analytics: Tracks usage patterns to improve ContentProof. Data is anonymized and subject to Google's privacy policy.
